Salt Lake Metro Basketball Partners With SportsRecruits

SALT LAKE CITY, UT February 15, 2018 - Salt Lake Metro Basketball and SportsRecruits have reached an agreement on a club integration, it was announced today. Salt Lake Metro integrated with SportsRecruits to give their student-athletes a competitive advantage in their collegiate recruiting.

SportsRecruits state-of-the-art recruiting platform automatically organizes the recruiting process for club staff, players and parents. Players share their athletic stats, academic transcripts, event schedule and video. The Built-In Messaging System connects the club’s players to every college coach in the country.

“The two primary goals of our Salt Lake Metro club program are Player Development and College Recruiting,” said Dave Hammer, Founder and Recruiting Coordinator. “We were initially attracted to SportsRecruits because of how user-friendly the system is for both the athletes and the college coaches. Player Profile/Research:

SportsRecruits makes it simple for athletes to build and maintain their athletic profile. Each athletic profile allows student-athletes a foolproof way to store their most up-to-date information, including unlimited video storage, GPA and academic transcripts, club team information, key stats and more so there is no need to search for the information from all over the internet,

There is no limit to the number of coach-athlete connections that can be made. Every college coach in the country is represented in the school database. Each athlete has access to this information and the ability to research schools across the country.

Using Advanced School Search, families can filter colleges for attributes like size, academic rigor, acceptance rate, and distance from home in addition to helping locate college basketball programs at all levels (DI, DII, DIII, NAIA & JC).

Upon finding these schools, athletes have instant access to up-to-date coach contact information. When athletes find the right schools for them, they can contact coaches at those schools with a few clicks. The platform puts athletes in direct contact with college coaches.  They can look up any school in the country, and contact its coach within the same browsing session.

Reaching out to Colleges/Recruiting Guidance:

College coaches have access to all of the club’s athlete profiles.

Anytime an athlete reaches out to a school, this action appears on their activity feed. As a club, the recruiting platform helps track player progress so they can monitor which of the players are actively engaged and emailing college coaches, which in turn allows follow up with additional assistance to secure successful results.

Club staff members can recommend schools to players and families to provide personalized, targeted guidance and recruiting assistance which keeps everybody involved in the process. SportsRecruits organizes every message sent out to coaches so the club can see when a player follows up on a recommendation.

The platform has the ability to tag and communicate with specific schools and coaches.
